MTNTOUGH Launches Daily Yoga: A Game-Changing Power Yoga Program for Mountain Athletes and Hunters

If there’s one thing we’ve learned at MTNTOUGH, it’s that strength alone isn’t enough for conquering the backcountry or thriving in the mountains. True mountain athletes need a combination of power, mobility, flexibility, and a rock-solid mindset to stay at peak performance—no matter their age or stage of life. That’s exactly why we’re thrilled to announce the launch of MTNTOUGH Daily Yoga: a power yoga program specially designed to help you move better, recover faster, and gain mental toughness along the way.


The Evolution of MTNTOUGH Dailies

A few years ago, we asked ourselves one simple question: If the entire MTNTOUGH staff were your personal trainers, how would we train you every single day? This led to the creation of our Daily Workouts—fresh, new routines that drop each day and then disappear 24 hours later, just like an in-person class you don’t want to miss.

We started with the MGD (Minimal Gear Daily), then added the Gym Daily, Mobility Daily, and eventually Daily Prayer to address the spiritual side of performance. Now, we’re bringing you Daily Yoga—another critical piece of the performance puzzle. Like the rest of our Dailies, the yoga workouts will be fresh every day and only available for 24 hours. It’s a unique blend of accountability and excitement that keeps you motivated to show up, put in the work, and never miss a beat.

Coach Danni Mackenzie brings a background in ballet, competitive sports, and hot power yoga to craft classes that push you to the edge of your limits. Her sessions blend dynamic movements, balance challenges, and intentional holds—all designed to build full-body strength, boost mobility, and hone your mindset.

This isn’t “relax-and-gently-stretch” yoga; it’s a true bodyweight workout with a mental toughness twist. You’ll see men and women from all backgrounds—backcountry hunters, ultrarunners, snowboarders, even special operations veterans—embracing this style of yoga because it complements their existing training and enhances their performance in the field.

How It Works: 5 New Sessions Every Week

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 30-minute sessions
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 40-minute sessions

Each day’s practice is unique and disappears after 24 hours, just like our other Dailies—so you’ll always have something fresh to look forward to. The 30-minute routines are perfect for busy schedules or pairing with another workout in the MTNTOUGH app. The 40-minute sessions let you dive a bit deeper, focusing more on stability, balance, and extended mobility work.

All you need is a mat (or a little space in your living room) and an internet connection. If you want an extra mental challenge, try cranking up the heat or using a space heater to mimic a hot yoga environment—just be sure to hydrate!
