Bode Miller hails from the United States and made a name for himself as a premier World Cup alpine ski racer. His accolades include Olympic and World Championship gold medals, clinching the overall World Cup title in both 2005 and 2008. He holds the distinction of being the most accomplished American male in the history of alpine ski racing. His remarkable record features 33 World Cup race triumphs, and he remains one of the elite few to have clinched victories in every discipline. He's unparalleled, having achieved five or more wins in each category. In 2008, alongside Lindsey Vonn, he secured the overall World Cup title, marking a notable double win for the U.S. after a 25-year wait.

Miller's illustrious career boasts six Winter Olympic medals, a record for an American skier. His Olympic journey began with two silver medals in 2002 in Salt Lake City. He further added a gold, a silver, and a bronze in 2010's Vancouver games, and another bronze in Sochi 2014. This feat positioned Miller alongside skiing greats like Kjetil André Aamodt, Anja Pärson, Janica Kostelić, and Katja Seizinger, all of whom have won in four varied disciplines.

Miller's World Cup successes span six titles across disciplines, complemented by four World Championships in different categories. As he began to pivot away from skiing, Miller delved into the world of horse racing. By October 2017, he had announced his retirement from the slopes.

Off the slopes, Miller's entrepreneurial spirit has shone through. He's worn multiple hats: from founder to investor and strategic advisor. A notable early investment was in the lifestyle brand Onnit in 2010, spearheaded by his good friend Aubrey Marcus. By 2020, Miller had co-established SKEO, a brand focusing on wearable ski technology. A year later, he took on a directorial role at Opex Technologies, a firm dedicated to technological transformation initiatives. His most recent venture, in December 2021, saw him partnering with Alpine-X, pioneers in indoor snowsports resorts, where he serves as the Chief Innovation Officer, collaborating closely with Strategic Advisor Andrew Wirth.
