Ascend to the next level with GYM DAILY. This five-day, full-gym program supersizes our popular Minimal Gear Daily (MGD)s by adding more strength training, more form and more technique. By incorporating standard gym equipment like squat racks, barbells, bikes, rowers and more, GYM DAILY ramps up your functional strength and improves your endurance and coordination in under an hour Monday through Friday.
Join Nick Bechtold, an orthopedic physical therapist and certified conditioning coach, as he works one-on-one with a single athlete during each coached session, taking them from a customized warm-up through a functional fitness workout and into a cool-down complete with workout recap and goals for moving forward. Bechtold will provide more in-depth coaching than previous programs, targeting proper form to correct common faults for primary movement used in GYM DAILY and MGDs – while the workout is happening.
GYM DAILY workouts will be accessible for 24 hours five days a week just like MTNTOUGH MGDs. They will follow four- to six-week cycles so you can track your progress, meet your goals and, hopefully, push yourself toward constant improvement and evolution in order to become the most functional mountain athlete you can be. Passionate about bridging the gap between rehab and performance, Dr. Nick Bechtold has been coaching mountain and military tactical athletes for over two years while also running a physical therapy practice, Movement Physio, with his wife, Anna, in an office directly located within the MTNTOUGH Fitness Lab.
An orthopedic physical therapist, Nick is certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He’s also certified as a strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. A Montana native, Nick was born and raised in Billings, and earned a B.A. in human biology and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Montana.
