This is a MTNTOUGH favorite because it is designed to test your grit, build your mental toughness, and expand your ability to persevere...important skills required to handle the extreme demands of the backcountry.
In this workout, you will work your upper and lower body at a rapid pace. Your heart rate goes through the roof, so you see incredible strength, fat burning, and muscle-building effects. Most importantly, this workout will train you between the ears to help strengthen your mind.
Focus on finishing the workout as quickly as possible while maintaining perfect form. Once per week, for four weeks, prior to an upcoming backcountry trip in conjunction with your regular fitness regime is ideal. Try and improve your time each week!
