Build Dangerous Mountain Legs With This Step-Up Modification

MTNTOUGH coach Jimmy Alsobrook "The Legend" walks us through the step-up torso angle. The step-up is still an absolute favorite to build mountain legs but paying attention to your torso angle and the "hinge" is super important. Neither straight up or leaning forward is incorrect...just depends on what you want to train more, the anterior chain (quads) or the posterior chain (glutes/hams). The critical thing is that you mix up the torso angle to make sure you are training both and most people miss the forward leaning "hinge" on this movement creating an imbalance in the legs. Give this modification a try and if you haven't done them in a while you are in for a real treat!
